This year we are listing 240 different hosta varieties. Each cultivar starts with the item number followed by name, hybridizer, descriptive information, and price.

82. Geisha (Vaughn) This hosta grows with a distinctive twisted, upright habit. Yellow-green, glossy leaves with darker green margins. Light purple flowers. (M) $10.00

83. Ginko Craig (Craig/Summers) Dark green narrow leaves with nice white edge, good edger & grower. (S) $6.00

84. Gold Edger (Aden) Yellow heart-shaped leaves, heavy texture, fast grower, good border; sun tolerant.(S) $6.00

85. Gold Regal (Aden) Large gold leaves similar to H. Krossa Regal, forming a vase-shaped clump with maturity. Purple flowers. (M/L) $8.00

86. Gold Standard (Banyai) This popular Fortunei sport has a deep green border with golden center, lavender flowers mid-summer. (M/L) $6.00

87. Gold Standard (Banyai) We have a second listing, a stunted version. Same as above in color but shorter, more compact mound. When mature, a stunning plant. (M) $8.00

88. Golden Bullion (Bennerup/Ruh) This is a gold-leaved sport of H. Tokudama Flavocircinalis. The leaves are bright and corrugated. (M) $8.00

89. Golden Oriole (Smith) A rarely found hosta with wonderful early gold color, from a cross of H. Kabitan and H. Hadspen Heron. (M) $12.00

90. Golden Prayers (Aden) Bright, yellow-gold heart-shaped leaves of heavy substance, white flowers in summer. (S) $8.00

91. Golden Scepter (Savory) All gold sport of H. Golden Tiara with round golden leaves and lots of lavender flowers; excellent grower. (S) $6.00

92. Golden Sculpture (Anderson) A large leaved golden hosta, corrugated with time, that is an outstanding upright specimen. (L) $12.00

93. Golden Tiara (Savory) Heart-shaped yellow leaf with green margin, forms compact mound, lavender flowers, heavy bloomer. (S) $5.00

94. Golden Waffles (Aden) Nice, large leaf, ultimately, bright gold hosta that slowly forms a heavily corrugated mound that glows in low light. (L) $12.00

95. Grand Tiara (Pollock) The nice round golden leaves show a distinctive green center, lots of purple flowers. (M) $10.00

96. Great Expectations (Aden) Wide irregular blue-green margins may streak to center, surround creamy yellow centers, near-white flowers in June. A good candidate for small containers. (M/L) $15.00

102. Hadspen Blue (Smith/Ruh) Tardiana, deep blue, thick substanced leaves that are wider and larger than most in series, near-white flowers in July. (S/M) $8.00

103. Hadspen Heron (Smith/Ruh) Very blue, heavy textured narrow leaves, another Tardiana, white flowers in July. (S) $6.00

104. Hadspen Samphire (Smith/Ruhn) Shiny gold, lanceolate leaves with color lightening with season progression, especially beautiful early; grows well. (L) $8.00

105. Halcyon (Smith/BHHS) Deep blue-green foliage forming a dense mound, pale lavender flowers scape this very poplar Tardiana in August. (M) $6.00

106. Honeysong (Summers) Green centered with a creamy white edge. Grows well. (M) $10.00

126. Liberty (Machen) This new introduction is a sport of the classic H. Sagae. Improved substance and wider margins make it worth adding to the collection. (M/L) $20.00

127. Lime Piecrust (Lachman) Near-golden, piecrust-edged, large leaf, having a twisted tip. Give several hours of bright light for best color. (XL) $10.00

128. Little Razor (Zilis/Lohman) Narrow, golden foliage with good substance; lavender flowers on short scapes, good edging. (N) $10.00

129. Little White Lines (Zilis) Medium green with white margin, purple flowers in late June, good grower. (S) $6.00

130. Love Pat (Aden) Very blue, thick heavily corrugated foliage; near-white flowers in July; consistent blue throughout the United States. A winner! (M/L) $8.00

131. Lunar Eclipse (Zilis) White-margined sport of H. August Moon, light lavender flowers late July, distinct drawn edges.(M) $6.00

132. Maraschino Cherry (Zilis) Shiny dark green leaves with colorful scapes and lavender flowers. Rapid growth rate. (M) $8.00

133. Marilyn (Zilis) Slightly wavy, golden foliage, excellent grower; lavender flowers in July on tall scapes. (M) $8.00

134. Mary Marie Ann (Englerth) An unusual hosta. It’s twisting and wavy foliage are always changing colors. Starts out with a streaky, creamy yellow center and dark edges. (S) $15.00

135. Maui Butter Cups (W. Vaughn) Bright gold and rounded leaves that cup. Fairly new, showing great promise. (M) $15.00

136. Medusa (Herold) Lanceolate leaves with yellow centers and dark green rippled margins, from H. gracillima. (N) $18.00

137. Metallica (Lachman) Dark blue-green, heart shaped leaf, not widely available. Unique! (M) $10.00

138. Mildred Seaver (Vaughn) Leaves have an attractive thick white margin that contrasts nicely with the medium center. A fine plant! Pale lavender flowers in July. (M) $8.00

139. Minuteman (Machen) Similar to H. Patriot, but different with better substance, darker green center and a creamy margin. (M) $10.00

140. montana Large glossy green leaves with lavender flowers; not susceptible to spring frosts as it emerges the last of all hostas. (L) $6.00

141. montana Aureomarginata (AHS) Large glossy green leaves with a wide gold margin, very pale lavender flowers in July on tall scapes. An outstanding specimen and classic. (L) $8.00

142. montana Mountain Sunrise (Zilis) Long leaves start bright gold and change to medium green by mid-summer. Starts slow but forms a nice clump, pale lavender flowers on tall scapes. (L) $15.00

143. Moon River (Lachman) Blue-green leaves with white margins and good substance, lavender flowers. A nice plant!(S) $10.00

145. Moonlight Sonata (Johnson) Lovely, near round and wavy leaves begin bluish-green and turn shiny green; white, fragrant, early flowers. (L) $12.00

146. Moonstruck (Zumbar) This is a rare combintion of narrow blue leaf and creamy white center that you are sure to want to save for an early morning sun spot. (S) $22.00

147. Night Before Christmas (Machen) Creamy white to pure white center, with dark green margins on large pointed leaves. Nice contrast. (M) $10.00

148. nigrescens (Maekawa) Slightly frosty-grey colored leaves that are long, upright with good width. A striking specimen. (XL) $8.00

149. nigrescens Elatior (Maekawa) Long, medium green leaves form an unbelievably huge clump. (XL) $12.00

150. Northern Exposure (Walters Gardens) Heavily corrugated blue leaves with thick, white margins that do not curl up. Gorgeous! (L) $15.00

151. Obsession (Avent) Elliptical leaves, having varying shades of green, from medium to dark green edge; from H. Sparkling Burgundy. (M) $15.00

152. Olive Bailey Langdon (O’Hara) Beautiful blue rounded leaves, margined variably in gold. (L) $15.00

153. Old Faithful (Brinka/Petrysyn) Large, semi-glossy green leaves and red petioles form an upright mass with large fragrant flowers. Site with several hours of sun. (L) $12.00

154. On Stage (Aden) A H. montana that’s colors are the reverse of H. Aureomarginata; yellow leaf centers turning creamy white later with two-tone green margins that may streak, will tolerate more sun than most. Spectacular plant. (M/L) $18.00

155. On The Edge (Breeze Hill) Nearly round, nicely textured gold leaf with a good green edge; a sport of H. Aspen Gold. (M) $20.00

156. Orange Marmalade ( Solberg) This new sport of H. Paul’s Glory boasts of brighter gold centers than it’s parent. Varying levels of color are evident as the plant grows through a season. (M/L) $20.00
